On the other hand, there are times when you feel like a decision in the near future has the potential to change the course of the rest of your life. Hence, it’s a major turning point. It’s a like a crossroads where one of your destinies in life intersects another.

The idea is scary for people like me. As much as I try to be decisive, I’m a person that likes to leave options open. I think of a backup plan as my best friend. But maybe the potential for dramatic change isn’t such a bad thing after all. A stagnant life is boring, and the only way to avoid a stagnant life is to embrace the opportunity for change.

Often, we don’t know that we’re barreling down a revolutionary path because we’re so wrapped up in what we’re doing. But every once in a while, we hit a moment where we think “hey, you know what? from now on, things are going to be different,” and it’s nice to be conscious of those moments. Otherwise, it’s easy to forget how far we’ve come.
