About Lifecatcher.net
I used to say that this site is about learning to love life. But I later decided that was too broad and really cheesy.
My tag line says this site is about learning to live happily. That’s a good summary. I believe that no matter how bad things get, you can always learn to be happy about your situation in life. I don’t mean happy as in some sort of artificial put-on-a-happy-face kind of happy. I mean truly happy.
I’ve lived a very fortunate life. But I see people everyday that are deeply unhappy with where they are in life, regardless of how lucky they are. At the same time, people with miserable life situations embrace every moment. This contradiction drives me nuts.
Why can’t everybody learn to live happily?
So I’ve embarked on a quest to teach others to take life as it comes, create moments that make it worthwhile, and stop to smell life’s roses. Life should, after all, be a pleasurable experience. It’s also empowering if you play an active part in making your own life happy.
Life also presents many questions. I often wonder why we choose to live the way we do. Sometimes, it’s out of tradition. Or we truly want things to be a certain way. Other times, we have no clue why things are the way they are, and we learn to live with it. “Why?” is a great question and one that we need to keep asking.
I can’t promise that this site will change your life, but it might. Who knows?
The blog is where I keep most of my thoughts. I might add more pages later, but I haven’t thought that far ahead.
Enjoy. Congratulations for making it here, and I hope you come back. And if you like the site, I’d appreciate it if you share it with your friends
