The Bright Side of Being Sick
I’ve been a little under the weather lately. It wouldn’t be a big deal, except I’m planning on going skiing this weekend, so I’m trying to recover as quickly as possible.
Being sick is usually an awful experience, but it can be eyeopening. Instead of working your body nonstop and staying up as late as possible, [...]
Tuliptime in Holland, MI
* I always liked roses better than tulips, but tulips can be nice too
Saying ‘Hello’
Too often, we plow through life at a breakneck speed. Sometimes it’s necessary, but usually we artificially demand life to move at a certain pace. When was the last time that you said “hi” to someone you’ve never met before? It’s funny that some people get startled when you try to start a conversation with [...]
Write Everything Down
Ideas come and go like water. But there’s nothing I hate more than losing an idea. Maybe the idea was really valuable, or maybe it wasn’t. Either way, I end up agonizing over what my idea was. If I remember it, then great. But usually, I go through the rest of my day trying to [...]

Even Microsoft, one of the iconic companies of the Information Age, announced a slew of cuts that will leave highly talented individuals without a [...]

It looks like some mass execution/hanging of these otherwise innocent household items
Cold and Rainy Day
Sitting in class now. Feet are soaked, and it was kind of nasty outside because it was raining and cold. Rather than complain, which I’ve arguably already done, I’ll list some situations where “cold and wet” is a good thing:
ice cream,
lemonade,
in a raging fire,
frozen margaritas, and
guacamole.
